Na primeira você vê o grupo apresentando "The End" em um estúdio em Toronto, em 1967, quando ainda estava começando. No segundo momento o The Doors já está em plena ascensão, em uma passagem pela Dinamarca em 1968, durante sua única turnê pela Europa. Na terceira apresentação presente neste, eles já são uma banda experiente, estão em um programa da TV educativa, em Nova York, em 1969, em que Jim Morrison aparece de barba, cedendo sua única entrevista para a televisão, apenas alguns meses antes de ser preso em Miami. Enquanto você assiste a estas impressionantes e, em alguns casos, inéditas imagens, os membros remanescentes da banda fazem comentários emocionantes e surpreendentes.
